Is Meta-Knight related to Kirby? | IGN Boards
Meta Knight (メタナイト, Meta Naito) is a character in the Kirby series of games. He's shown his face briefly before, but his relationship to Kirby is still a mystery. His relationship with Kirby ranges from bitter rival to dedicated ally, depending on the situation. Meta Knight wishes to defeat Galacta Knight in order to become. Meta Knight reappears as an antagonist in the game Kirby Super Star, and its .. He's shown his face briefly before, but his relationship to Kirby is still a mystery.
But Kirby is stuck in Dreamland, not able to go back to Hypersleep and get his 1, years, and has been protecting Dreamland ever since. Why do you think Kirby is always napping?
He didn't get his proper 1, of rest to develop into a matured Star Warrior like Meta or Galacta. Now, I theorize that under those masks, they're all just different colored "Kirbys" not clones of the Kirby we know, but like of the same species. But maybe, when you're a baby, underdeveloped Star Warrior, you're allowed to suck up things and copy their abilities, but once you're a matured Star Warrior, that is frowned upon and shameful and you must wear a mask to not even be tempted to do it And, Meta Knight can be seen without his mask, often after beating him, but it's so quick, we can't get an accurate view.
But here in Planet Robobot, after freeing him of being mechanized, you can see him without his mask for the most frames he's ever been seen without his mask in the history of Kirby, and he's clearly just a really dark blue Kirby with yellow eyes.
And then he flies off. But also, they have wings.

Meta with Bat Wings and Galacta with Angel. Maybe after developing completely, they grow wings?
I mean, they gotta have some way to fly if they're no longer allowing to puff in air to float since they have their masks on. I also believe Nightmare from the anime AND Kirby's Adventure is Kirby and Meta Knight's father and I follow that plotline where he creates monsters to terrorize Dreamland but a series of monsters he created to devour thingsthe Kirby species, rebelled back and escape his fortress and were put into a Hypersleep to develop for 1, years and come back and destroy their father, Nightmare.
Well, Meta Knight got his years in, but never could face Nightmare because only the Star Rod could beat him, of which only Kirby could wield. So when Kirby was waken up early, he was sent to Dreamland by his Hypersleep ship and destroyed he and Meta Knight's father, Nightmare with the Star Rod. Technically, since Galacta Knight is of the same series of monsters Kirby species that Nightmare created, he is his father too, making Galacta, Meta, and Kirby all brothers.
They're just different ages and reside in different dimensions. More on my theory here: I would say Meta Knight could possibly be Kirby's father but Nightmare is the one who created both him AND Meta Knight, so that makes him technically their evil father, and that'd make them brothers.
Nintendo gives it to them. Whats so hard about that? Metaknight's relationship to kirby is unknown. All that is known is he's a member of Kirby's species. Also star warriors are not a thing at all.
The anime is it's own continuity, totally unrelated to the games. He is also available for play in Super Smash Bros. His appearance is similar to his in Brawl with slightly more vivid colours in the overall clothing.
It should also be noted that he was a trophy in Super Smash Bros. Trophy description Super Smash Bros.
